Vampirefreaks.com gets defensive...

The story about the Canadian gunman who went on a killing spree in a Montreal college (BBC News) included details of some of the last posts left on his blog at VampireFreaks.com.

Apparently the night before he shot up the school he described himself as "Postal" (a reference to the violent video game), crazy, was drunk on whisky and had been playing "Super Columbine massacre", a simulation game of the Columbine massacre. He wrote: "life is a video game, you've got to die sometime".

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but this is all entirely relevant to what happened, and the state of mind he was in before he killed innocents.
Why then are users of the site in question getting all defensive about the media reporting that his blog was on this website?

Users are saying things like "Sadly enough the only reason this site was brought up in the story is because the media always needs to point the finger somewhere" - actually no, they bought up the site because it had his blog on it explaining what a nutter he is!!

Accept that there is a nutter amongst you and move on!!

Bloody goths.....
