Banksy Location Map!

Some bastard's beaten me to it!

Thanks to the Standard Lite, I've found a map of Banksy's in the UK! Quality...

The pic to the right shows the main cluster in London, which could be known to be Banksy's stomping ground (i.e. the Shoreditch/Old Street area).

Fuck knows how many are still there, but I'm gonna go walkies and find out!

See this map as well for Banksy locations in Central London

If you wanna take a look at the map, it can be found here.

Ebay: My work colleague will sing to you down the phone

I've found another funny ebay item, check it out.

According to the blurb:

" You are happily bidding on a unique opportunity.
My work colleague Claire sings to us on a daily basis a different song each day. I think that this line of entertainment should be shared with one lucky eBay bidder.
Claire (picture attached) will happily call the winner at an agreed time and sing them either a verse or a chorus from the choice of song. Only pop chart hits will be accepted no, opera, punk please.
Claire is 25 years old and is currently in a long term relationship. She enjoys singing and sings every day to her team at 3'oclock.
The £1.00 postage is to cover the cost of the call to sing to you.
This has never been done before and will never be repeated!!!!"

I wonder how many dirty old men will bid for this and get her to sing Like a Virgin??

Bloody Arsenal fans

You may have noticed something missing from the Premiership so far this season. No, I'm not referring to West Brom's happy absence, or Alan Shearer's exciting goal celebrations.

I'm talking about Arsenal fans.

Normally vocal (except when at their homeground wherever that may be at the time), this season I haven't heard a peak out of any of the arrogant c&nts. Not one to complain, I happily went about my days, celebrating the win at Charlton, Zamora being joint top scorer, and the arrival of those Argies. I got pissed off when we could only manage a draw with the Villa scum, and that we played so well against those Mickey Mousers but still only pulled off a draw. All the time, not a peak out of any Spooners.

But today, first day back at work after their first win of the season, and I hear "Not a good result for West Ham at the weekend was it?". This was just the start. Then came the "I reckon we'll win the league, as soon as Baptista gets used to ther way we play" and the "I reckon Chelsea will come unstuick by Arsenal, as we didn't buy our success like they did". Cue more Arsneal bragging about how well they'll do and how West Ham, even with our new superstars, will never be as good.

BORING BORING ARSENAL!

FFS, this is typical Arsenal behaviour. Stay well quiet when it's not going their way, then as soon as they get their first 3 points, they're absolutely full of it!

Online Acid Trip!!

Check out this page on Skytopia...it's full of quality illusions, but my favourite is the Vision Distorter two thirds of the way down the page. Install the codec and then click one of the boxes.

Stare at the animation video for as long as you can be assed, and then look at the world around you.

For those that know........

If South London had the tube...

I just found this website showing what the tube would look like if it had grown South the way it grew North...

Take a close-up look at this image (courtesy of Lost Lines) - it's so funny to think how different London would be if one of the only places in the West End to have a tube was Oxford Circus....and just look at how pointless some of the tube stops would be!!

It's all about North...

Vampirefreaks.com gets defensive...

The story about the Canadian gunman who went on a killing spree in a Montreal college (BBC News) included details of some of the last posts left on his blog at VampireFreaks.com.

Apparently the night before he shot up the school he described himself as "Postal" (a reference to the violent video game), crazy, was drunk on whisky and had been playing "Super Columbine massacre", a simulation game of the Columbine massacre. He wrote: "life is a video game, you've got to die sometime".

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but this is all entirely relevant to what happened, and the state of mind he was in before he killed innocents.
Why then are users of the site in question getting all defensive about the media reporting that his blog was on this website?

Users are saying things like "Sadly enough the only reason this site was brought up in the story is because the media always needs to point the finger somewhere" - actually no, they bought up the site because it had his blog on it explaining what a nutter he is!!

Accept that there is a nutter amongst you and move on!!

Bloody goths.....

The Anorexic Pig

Look what someone's selling on Ebay now....

This piece of 'artwork' is a "One off sale of unique Piggy Artwork sculpture."

According to the blurb:

"Anorexic is an ironic piece of Artwork consisting of a male pig suffering from the illness Anorexia. Everyday this poor creature is disgusted with his own reflection in the mirror. This is an ironic twist of the saying 'Greedy as a pig' if only this pig had someone to re-assure him he looked ok.
This is a one off piece and would look good on any office desk. Don't miss this chance for a one off classic........
M&S cooler bag is not included i'm afraid..."

I'd love it if this actually went for some money, because basically it's just a foam pig ripped in half, with a pencil jammed in between them! In fact, get rid of the word basically, that's EXACTLY what it is!

Check it out now, you funksoul brother

Designated Graffitti Area - Banksy

Found one of my favourite Banksy's today in Rivington Street, EC2 (Streetmap). The wall this piece is on is now part of a pub beer garden, and the same wall has other pieces on (that I couldn't see cos the gates were shut, but they didn't look like Banksy's) - meaning it has actually become a designated graffitti area!

It seems Rivington St, between Old Street and the Great Eastern Road, was a bit of a haunt for Banksy....

Google Image Labeller

Check out this new game from google Image.

1 minute 30 is put on the clock....

you're head to head with a random opponent somewhere on T'interweb....

you have to .............describe a picture that is displayed on the screen.

You what?

Yep, that's the game. A picture from Google Image is presented on screen, and you and your opponent have to describe it. Sounds great doesn't it?

But, if you actually give it a go you may just get addicted. OK, so it's not really an "opponent" as such, more a co-player. If you both describe the same image using the same word, you have a match, and you earn points! The more points you get in 1min 30 the better!

Heavy Hit after Heavy Hit after Heavy Hit...

Tim Westwood - does he take himself seriously or not? I really want to know!

Come to think of it - does anyone take him seriously? I regard him as a hilarious joke - someone who thinks he's a US HipHop DJ but in actual fact is a BBC DJ from Southampton. His catchphrases and column in the Sun (I once read an article where he described himself as "Tim Westwood AKA The Ladies Choice AKA Da Big Dawg on Campus") are just well OTT and I think he knows this, man!
But on the other hand, and as he quite rightly says, when the big US stars come to the UK he's always gonna be the first with an interview. However have you noticed his album has loads of tunes from the same record label (Def Jam)...

Anyway, if you want a laugh check out this link from the BBC.

UNDERSTAND THAT!

Blogger V2

Just upgraded to Blogger v2 (beta) - it's lookin good, and has loads of features I kind of expected Blogger to have anyway e.g. drag and drop, add elements etc.

Should make things a lot easier. I reccommend the upgrade!

9/11 - half a decade on

So it's been 5 years since the Twin Towers were hit in an apparent Terrorist Attack by Al Qaeda. We all know the story, and I'm sure most of us are shocked that it's been 5 years.
Crowds gathered at Ground Zero in New York to mark five years since the attacks of 11 September 2001 - courtesy of BBC.

But in what way has the world changed since that infamous date?

One of the most important things we are now aware of as a result of 9/11, I believe, is Radical Islam. Some Muslims see the USA as The Great Satan (wiki), mainly for it's foreign policy, particularly with regards to Israel. The main beef, from what I can work out, is that many in the Arab/Muslim world are angry that the US is seen to support Israeli expansion beyond it's 1967 borders, but also many in the world (not just the Arab world are angry that the US exerts so much dominance and "forces" it's culture and ideas on the rest of the world. These viewpoints existed before 9/11 (and was in fact its raison d'etre), but now the world is much more aware of it because of what happened 5 years ago yesterday. In this sense, we could say that the Islamic Fundamentalists have succeeded in getting their cause known.

This is a big change.

To be continued....

West Ham draw with the Villa scum

West Ham 1 - 1 Villa

After going 1 down after 4 minutes (Ridgewell), West Ham had a shocking first half. NRC kept giving the ball away, Mullins was just pony, and it wasn't happening at all. Villascum did play well, and we just couldn't break up their defence. Zamora was looking good, and Bowyer was trying his best but we just kept getting shut out.
I couldn't believe it when their keeper knocked the ball straight onto the path of Harewood from about 5 metres out - and then Marlon fluffed it! From my angle (East Upper Centenary end) it looked like a shocking miss but I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt - until I saw it on MOTD and realised it WAS a shocking miss!
Kudos to Tyrone for his quality goalline save, and also to Pardew for his half time team talk, cos we were a different side when we came out again. Zamora was excellent and got the equaliser, while Tevez came on with 29 minutes to go, and I thought he was looking excellent. He had a few really good runs around the box and was passing into space for the Z-man to run on.
Overall, I reckon 1-1 was a fair result for the game. We were crap in the first half and didn't deserve any points, but int he second we defintiely thought back and desrved the draw. It was a game of two halves, I'm not over the moon, nor am I sick as a parrot. But I do hate Villa! (Omiyimni....)

Good comments from Pardew in this interview - shows he has exactly the same desires as any true West Ham fan.

Come on U IRONS!!

Tevez!

Come on Tevez do the biz at the Boleyn tomorrow....

Back once again for the renegade master!

Here I am back once again! I've been away for a year and 3/4 by the looks of it. Something tells me I knew this would happen even when I was writing my first blog!

I haven't had a computer since then (except at work) so I guess that can be my excuse - I'm getting one for my birthday (Sep 26th) so maybe I'll start this up fulltime - you never know!

Anyway, it's Friday afternoon, I'm very bored, I can't even think about work cos my brain is now officially on weekend mode! SO I thought I would do something at least a little bit creative......
Come on U IRONS!
Tonight I'm seeing my girlfriend (making her Fajitas and watching Human Traffic probably) and Sunday i'm going West Ham (Vs. Villa) - hopefully Mascherano will make his debut. I thought Tevez was going to be, but the Standard Lite reports that he is not fully match fit and so won't make it. Bit of a shame really cos I'm well looking forward to seieng both of them play, and I'm hoping they will live up to their hype. I'm sure whenever they make their debut they will have a bad game (by that I mean not absolutely amazing) and the press will be on our/their backs - but I don't care. They're not guaranteed starting places (as Pardew said) and we still have a quality bunch of strikers to rely upon anyway, that kept us in the top half for 100% of last season!

My prediction: 3-0
